Farm Shop
Lydford 2014
Formerly the site of a small petrol station on the A386, the current shop building was designed and set at an angle to attract attention and express its function as well as style and character to the passing traffic.
Contemporary but friendly and welcoming, internally the building is open into the roof with feature high level glazing and with shelves integrated into the buildings timber structure.
The porch structure running around the two road-ward sides of the building allows produce to be displayed to the passing traffic, as well as providing shelter from poor weather, and therefore encourages potential customers.
